My diary Critical Reading class reflection

          From I learned a Critical Reading class with Dr.Usa. At first time when I herd this subject I think it might be difficult and bore but when I have chance to learned it I think differently because it was fun, interesting, challenge, and important for  learning and my life. I like this class very well because this class makes me more understood about Critical Reading and this class help me for developed in critical thinking because it have a lot of exercises for express my idea and I got a lot of knowledge for this class. This class can help me developed in English skill; listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I gain many news words from this class and this class makes me more understand about introduction to critical reading, differ between fact and opinion, step for identify main idea, proverb about “You’re never too old to learn” and “Life Long Learning”, movie and book reviews, elements of critical reading, reading advertisement, editorial, and news articles. I really like this class especially teacher because teacher was a good teacher, punctual, kind, gentle, have a good technique for teaching, good model for students, and teacher always teach about moral. Next time if I have a chance to learn I want to learn this class again.

 

 

My diary 23/09/2013

          Today I had a Critical class with Dr.Usa. This class was the last one for this course. I learned about Reading News Articles of Facebook to Share Your Infro for Money in StudentNewsDaily.com. This passage give information about facebook, step to share profile and how to block the application from these website.I didn’t have any problem. I think this class was easy, fun, interesting, and important. I really enjoyed class and want to learn and more.

 

My diary 19/09/2013

          Today I learned about Reading Editorial with Dr. Usa. Teacher asked to read the commentary in sheet and answer the question for make understand. Teacher makes sure the correct answer from our brainstorming and wrote on white broad. And then asked to read the Another enormous ObamaCare ‘ Oops’ from studentNewsDaily.com. and answer the question again. I think it was difficult because I didn’t know some words and didn’t understand some sentences but teacher tell about the meaning of words so it makes me understood about it. I think this class was challenge and interesting. I really enjoyed class.

          Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr.Usa. I learned to Reading Advertisement sheet it was old sheet about theme of advertisement and the entire advertisement. We makes understood all of advertisement from our brainstorming and choose the best answer for question. I got more about advertisement that using the words in advertisement should be smooth, powerful, positive words, sleek, brief, and attract attention. I think this class was quite difficult but interesting and challenge. If I can identify the theme I think it was easy but if I can’t identify I think it was very difficult because I didn’t know new words. I really like this class.

           Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr. Usa. I learned to about Movie reviews. Teacher gave a new sheet Reading Movie reviews and teacher about it. In this sheet I get ideas for use the words in movie reviews, special effects, comedy, horror, mystery, character performance, movie review vocabulary, movie genres, and movies ratings. Teacher asked to do the exercises for more understand in movie reviews and then teacher gave a Reading Advertisements sheet and teach about it. I learned about  theme line, products features, and target audience. Teacher asked to do exercises for more understand about it. I think this class was quite difficult but challenge and interesting. I really enjoyed class.

           Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr. Usa. Teacher gave a new sheet about Book reviews and teach about positive and negative words that use in book reviews. And then teacher asked to do exercises for check the reviewer like or does not like the book. Teacher asked to found the Book review from the internet and do home work. I think class was fun, challenge, and interesting. I didn’t have any problem about this class and I get many ideas in book review from this class. I really liked and enjoyed class.

           Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr. Usa. First, I had midterm test. It was very difficult and I stained about it. I got new sheet it about the author’s purpose, tone, point of view, and intended audience. Teacher asked to read it, she describe it in the power point for we more understood, and do exercises in sheet. I think this class was easy but very important and interesting for reading and writing a book. I didn’t have any problem about this class. I really enjoyed class.

            Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr. Usa. I had brain storming about The First Grader from this activity I got many words and it makes me more understood about The First Grader. I learned to about The First Grader in the handout and do exercise about it. Teacher asked to work in group about The immigration and share ideas with friends in the classroom. I think all of activities were fun, interesting and important. I didn’t have any problem in this class and I got many ideas for learn from this class. I really enjoyed class.

        Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr. Usa. I learned to about the proverbs “You’re never too old to learn.” Teacher opened the movies The First Grader. It was story about this proverbs shows a real life of the old man in Kenya. He fight for learn because he want to literate. He had many problem because he was an old  man but he can prove that Life Long Learning it is truth. I think this class was interesting, fun and challenge. This class makes me have the inspiration for learning. I really liked and enjoyed class.

      Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr. Usa. I learned to The Age of Immigration. First, teacher asked to look at illustrations to get an idea of the topic of an article and discuss a question with partner. Next, read the paragraph 1-7 in the first sentence and match numbers of paragraph with question about it, scan the paragraph and highlight words or short phrases and highlight the sentence in the paragraph that this story is a illustrates. All of this is a technique for identify main idea. Finally, teacher asked to do exercise for check main idea and find words in the same meaning. I think this class was difficult because I didn’t know about new words. I gain many technique for identify main idea. I think this class was fun and interesting. I really enjoyed class.

      Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr. Usa. I learned to meaning about Main ideas, strategies for help identify main ideas and Early Hypothesis Formation and Testing. I gain some technique for identify main ideas from hypothesis and make sure by test for the answer. Teacher asked to do exercise practice for identify main ideas. Then we had a quiz from last week in title of facts and opinions. I think this class was very difficult for me because it had a lot of new words and I didn’t know about it. I did have problem for this class such as vocabulary and I can’t identify main ideas but I think this class was very important, challenge and interesting. I enjoyed class.

       Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr. Usa. I learned to different between Fact and Opinion. Teacher asked to read passage and work in groups for 4 people and made sentence about fact and opinion. Teacher asked to share ideas in group with friends in the classroom and do exercise for more understand about fact and opinion. I understood about difference between fact and opinion and I gain some technique for separate it. I think this class was easy, interesting and important. I didn’t problem about this class. I enjoyed class and want to learn and more.

      Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr. Usa. I learned to about Popular Culture Critical Reading. First teacher asked to read the passage and answer question following passage and share ideas about answer with friends. And then teacher make sure for our answer. Before we class finished we had summarize passage for quiz. I think was difficult but very interesting and challenge. I really enjoyed class and want to learn and more.

      Today I had a Critical Reading class with Dr. Usa. I learned to about Introduction to Critical Reading. The first teacher show Leonaardo da Vinci’s painting Mona Lisa .Teacher asked to  student look at Mona Lisa and explained what we think about  Mona Lisa and share ideas and feeling about painting with friends. I was fun and got many ideas from my friends. Teacher asked to read Introduction to Critical Reading sheets for 30 minute when read sheets already we had quiz about Introduction to Critical Reading. I think class was easy and important for learning. I think Critical Reading was a little bit difficult. I didn’t have problem about this class. I think this class will be improve my English skill. I really enjoyed class.

           To day I had Critical Reading with DR. Usa. This class is first time for Critical Reading

 teacher expanded about Course Syllabus such as Course Description, Objective, Contents,

Course Schedule, Assessment, and Requirement. I leaned to meaning about Critical

Reading . Teacher assigned group work for 5 people and show ideas in our thinking for

Critical Reading and present the ideas  in class room. I think this subject very difficult for

me and I very worry for this class because my grammar not good  and my Critical Reading

skill are weak but I think teacher can be make easy for this courseI believe that. I think this

subject was important for me and everyone because it will improve my reading skill.

 Interesting and challenge. I really enjoyed class and I want to learn and more
